Reaching out – of the phone

Today “reaching out” is something we do alone, cramming our phone. Didn’t it use to be something else?

Connecting is not what it used to be

Reaching out is today not something we do by touching someone in arms reach, it is not posting a note in the supermarket or sending a letter around to our friends… it is not even sending an email.

Reaching out is more and more becoming a social media thing, Something we do by bending down over our phones
