Evening sketching H.C. Andersen play

Text and drawings by Frits Ahlefeldt

It was a cold rainy winter night, walking across the bridge to the small theater. Inside was a timeless world, theater brought back without much technology. Instead it was about one of the things we humans are best at – Being people sharing stories and using music to bring it all together.

Here are my live sketches from my seat down in the very dark back, where I could just see the paper, but not really see what I was drawing with my ink and brush:

keywords: journalism, kærlig hilsen H.C.Andersen, Lars Bom, Nicholas Kingo, Eva Malling, Benita Haastrup, storytelling, Theatre, teater, teater, teatertegning, live drawing

Drawn journalism is a project by me, Frits Ahlefeldt – about drawing up journalism, using drawings, sketches and watercolors, more than words
