Drawings from an evening at the theater play “Kind regards H.C Andersen” based on the personal letters of the great danish fairytale writer
Evening sketching H.C. Andersen play
Text and drawings by Frits Ahlefeldt
It was a cold rainy winter night, walking across the bridge to the small theater. Inside was a timeless world, theater brought back without much technology. Instead it was about one of the things we humans are best at – Being people sharing stories and using music to bring it all together.
Here are my live sketches from my seat down in the very dark back, where I could just see the paper, but not really see what I was drawing with my ink and brush:

Drawn journalism is a project by me, Frits Ahlefeldt – about drawing up journalism, using drawings, sketches and watercolors, more than words
