When fear creates its own reality

Scenes from around the world are starting to look similar as worried people cue up in front of supermarkets

Waiting for the supermarket to open

The Prime minister on TV telling everybody not to panic, saying there is no need to worry, no need to run towards the stores… Every word repeated again and again by experts, on TV, in articles and on social media

Early in the morning the supermarkets stay closed longer, as they prepare for what they worry might be crowds of hoarders.

In front of the closed doors more and more customers gather. Wondering why they can’t get in, why the doors are closed when they should be open… sharing images and updates from their phones… Should they worry?

Sometimes fear can create its own reality….
