More and more tech companies get into the race of creating new artificial realities
The Tech giants are looking at creating new online realities with their own 3D dynamics and interactions – Facebook has announced its name change to Meta, apparently both to bring their different brands ( Facebook, Instagram etc. ) under same hat. But also to help bring life to their new vision of a global digital metaverse.
As Meta.com writes:
“3D spaces in the metaverse will let you socialize, learn, collaborate and play in ways that go beyond what we can imagine”
Other giants are heading in the same direction – Google, after their discontinued Daydream project, are working with others on a new one called web3 (link to Wikipedia)
