In the old days the map-makers would write “Sunt dracones” – “Here be dragons” with hand-crafted letters on the areas of the maps still unexplored

Listening to the presentations I could understand, for citizen science part of the challenge is exactly this, daring greatly into areas where no human, or expert has gone before, to research and map up places that many thought were beyond the edge…
