Three migration ways for species

Helping animals move between habitats as assisted migration, stepping stones and green corridors

Getting across

In the ever more fragmented landscapes around us, many species have a hard time getting across the gaps of roads, cities, fields and other barriers

Three of the ways we can help them do this is by securing and making:

  1. Green corridors of many kinds – green paths, green ways, along river banks, etc.
  2. Making stepping stones, where there are no direct lines of connection
  3. Transport – some places are transporting and reintroducing endangered species this way
