Cooperation on coastal protection

Local municipalities are responsible for much of the coastal protection. But it can be a challenge for neighboring municipalities to coordinate and think of solutions together

With the coming sea level rise, it is more important than ever that municipalities cooperate around coastal and climate protection, to create a shared foundation for the common solutions to face new and increasing challenges in the next ten, thirty and hundred years.

Climate solutions must be able to last and be flexible for many years into the future. Once you have chosen one type of solution, it is difficult to switch completely to another type.

The solutions must work both in the very long term and across municipalities, regions and national borders.
